BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health Clinic and Domiciliary have a requirement for the procurement, delivery, installation, removal, and disposal of Behavioral Health mattresses for use within the Mental Health Domiciliary Program. PURPOSE: The requested mattresses are intended to support patient safety, behavioral health environmental standards, bariatric accommodation requirements, infection prevention practices, pressure redistribution needs, and overall patient comfort within the domiciliary setting. SCOPE: JAHVH Tampa Mental Health is requesting Comfortex brand name or equal mattresses to be installed throughout the Mental Health Clinic and Domiciliary.
