This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the B20128 Make-up Air Handlers Refurbishment for 7 units use by United States Air Force (USAF) personnel. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the production data/repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the refurbishment of the B20128 Air Handler units. The refurbishment of all internal parts for seven (7) makeup air handlers (fans 6-12) and capable to interface with current Johnson Controls. The acquisition strategy is for a one time contract.
The contractor shall remove all existing fans, filter racks and hot water coils for the (7) air handlers (fans 6-12). The metal housing will stay intact. the control work to allow the existing Johnson controls to be used to modulate variable speed supply fans to maintain the wet process area space pressure at negative (-) 0.02”WC relative to the outdoors. Contractor shall provide new differential air pressure sensor. All fan VFDs shall receive control signals from a single differential pressure sensor.
A Fan Array System, which is a system where multiple smaller fans are arranged in a grid pattern to replace a single, large fan. Each air-handler housing is made up of a fan, filter racks, and hot water coils. Each unit is to have 55,000 CFM @ 4.75 Total Static Pressure using 480/3/60 electrical. create a system that will allow for current/future alarming capabilities, trending air flow, scheduling start up/shut down capabilities and in the future interface with dashboard for monitoring the following: Building Automation System (BAS), Damper Control, Heating Coil, Filters, Low Pressure, Smoke Controls.
