    Description

The purpose of this amendment is to address a question submitted by an interested vendor. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. See question below. Question: Can you please advise if the hooded sweatshirt and long sleeve t-shirts are supposed to be FR, as well. I know it doesn t t say, but it just didn t t make sense that the outer clothing would not be FR too. Answer: The Long Sleeve T-shirts mentioned in section III.5 of the SOW are being utilized as an undergarment and is only required to be 100% cotton. This is separate from the FR Long-Sleeved shirts in Section III.3 of the SOW as that is utilized as an outer garment. The Hooded Sweatshirts mentioned in section III.4 of the SOW are not being utilized for tasks that require FR clothing, just as a regular outer garment. We do not require an FR sweatshirt as we have additional suits, and the FR Shirts in section III.2 and III.3 of the SOW offer category 2 protection.
