The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Healthcare Contracting Division South intends to award a sole source requirement for Abbott ID Now molecular analyzers and testing kits, on a Cost-Per-Kit basis, for Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida, to Abbott Rapid DX North America LLC (Cage Code: 5C4F2) located at 30 S Keller Rd Ste 100, Orlando, Florida 32810-6297 under the authority of FAR Part 13.501(a)(1)(ii). This notice is neither a request for competitive quotations nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement. Responses to this notice should include: 1. Written narrative (not to exceed 1 page) of Contractors capability to provide Abbott ID Now molecular analyzers and testing kits, on a Cost-Per-Kit basis, as follows: Abbott Part Number Description Estimated Quantity NAT-024 ID NOW Instrument Approximately 12 units to support 22,317 tests per year 427-000 ID NOW Flu (Influenza A/B), 24 per kit, Includes swabs and controls 8,533 tests per year 192-000 ID NOW COVID-19, 24 tests per kit, Includes swabs and controls 8,591 tests per year 734-000 ID NOW Strep A, 24 tests per kit, Includes swabs and controls 4,983 tests per year 435-000 ID NOW RSV, 24 tests per kit, Includes swabs and controls 210 tests per year 2. Company Size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; 3. Commercial and Government Entity; 4. The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concerns, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, veteran- owned small business; 5. There is a future possibility of additional Abbott ID Now molecular analyzers and testing kits to be added under the resultant contract from this Notice of Intent. These additional commodities would cover Military Treatment Facilities under the DHACA HCD-S Area of Responsibility. 6.
