    Description

    The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division in support of Product Manager Force Sustainment Systems, Expeditionary Support Division (PM-FSS-ESD) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price definite-quantity contract with a one-year base period and no option years on a sole source basis to WAMORE, Inc, located at 1907 W Parkside Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85027 under the authority as prescribed in Title 41 U.S.C. §1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. 

    PM-FSS-ESD developed ACPRS as one of several systems to deliver capabilities outlined by the Capability Production Document for the Advanced Low Velocity Airdrop System (ALVADS). An associated ALVADS components Rapid Rigging De-Rigging Airdrop System (RRDAS) is still under development. The ACPRS components procured under this authority are necessary to support continued validation, demonstration, and operational testing of the associated RRDAS. These components are uniquely manufactured by Wamore, Inc., the original designer and sole producer of ACPRS, which remains the only system that has successfully passed Government First Article Testing (FAT).
