1. REQUIREMENT BACKGROUND & TRACKING:
This Request for Information (RFI #4) is a continuation of the market research initiated under RFI #1, RFI #2, and RFI #3 (Related Notice ID: FA930027R6000-RFI03) for the temporarily designated 'ASTROS II' requirement.

2. PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE (RFI #4):
The purpose of this notice is to:
Provide the Industry Day Briefing Charts and Attendee Roster to all interested parties (attached).
Establish a formal mechanism for industry to submit follow-up questions resulting from the Industry Day briefing, bus tour, and 1:1 sessions.
Solicit targeted capability feedback on an additional government question regarding Systems Engineering.
3. SUBMISSION OF INDUSTRY QUESTIONS (VIA Q&A MATRIX):
The Government has re-attached the ASTROS II Industry Q&A Matrix (originally provided in RFI #3) to this notice.
Action Required: All follow-up questions regarding the Industry Day presentations, the bus tour, or 1:1 discussions must be submitted using the ASTROS II Industry Q&A Matrix.
Deadline: Industry Q&A submissions must be sent via email to the Point of Contact (POC) listed below no later than 30 July 2026 at 4:00 PM (1600) PST.
4. ADDITIONAL GOVERNMENT QUESTION FOR INDUSTRY FEEDBACK:
In addition to the Q&A Matrix, the Government requests targeted feedback on the following Systems Engineering prompt. Please submit your response to this question as a separate accompanied memorandum.
Systems Engineering Capability Question:
What internal expertise and capability does your company have with respect to Systems Engineering, that they would be able to leverage in the execution of ASTROS II to ensure proper systems engineering practices are followed in the development of new rocket test infrastructure and the sustainment of existing infrastructure? Disciplines of systems engineering to address should include, but not be limited to: Requirements analysis, system design and integration, verification and validation, and configuration management.
