    Offutt Air Force Base is seeking sources for an autonomous aircraft washer. Below is a draft statement of need outlining general requirements for the product.

    STATEMENT OF NEED

    1. This requirement is for the purchase of an autonomous aircraft washer which will reduce man hours and supply costs spent washing aircraft.

    1. The provided items shall meet or exceed the following requirements: Semi-autonomous mobile robotic aircraft cleaning system controlled via an ergonomic, wireless remote control. 100% Electric (Battery) Powered. The onboard battery must hold sufficient charge to continuously operate and complete at least one full wide-body aircraft cleaning cycle lasting approximately 6 hours. Integrated automatic safety shut-off sensors that immediately halt all motion and brush rotation if the equipment gets too close to or makes unauthorized contact with the aircraft skin.
