    Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Award to a Single Source Contract

    Synopsis:

    This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions"

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to award a single-source, firm-fixed-price supply contract to North coast Electric Company, 625 N. Thompson Street, Portland, Oregon, 97227-1820. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase three (3) Allen Bradley 1756-EN2TR modules. 
    The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l) as implemented by FAR 13.106-l(b)(l) - Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. 


    A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED 


    The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. 


    THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS 


    Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government by submitting a capability statement that they have ability to supply the required components meeting the Government's need. If no affirmative written responses are received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 28 July 2025, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Electronic responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the contracting point of contact listed below. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
