Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Award to a Single Source Contract

Synopsis:

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions"

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to award a single-source, firm-fixed-price supply contract to North coast Electric Company, 625 N. Thompson Street, Portland, Oregon, 97227-1820. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase three (3) Allen Bradley 1756-EN2TR modules. 
The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l) as implemented by FAR 13.106-l(b)(l) - Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. 

A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED 

The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. 

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS 

Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government by submitting a capability statement that they have ability to supply the required components meeting the Government's need. If no affirmative written responses are received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 28 July 2025, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
