LBNL plans to procure two (2) units of 25 kW (peak) pulsed RF solid-state (LDMOS/GaN-based) High Power Amplifiers (HPAs):

One (1) unit operating at approximately 125 MHz
One (1) unit operating at approximately 500 MHz

These new HPAs will replace the existing tube-based ALS Sub-Harmonic Buncher (SHB) pulsed RF amplifier systems. LBNL believes this opportunity may be of interest to bidders with relevant experience in this field.
