AMMUNITION ORDER FOR USP ATWATER

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Atwater, Ca intends to issue an award to a qualifying entity that can provide various small arms ammunition that meets or exceeds the specs listed below.  Vendors must be able to sell and deliver both 9mm and 5.56 ammunition in the state of California to USP Atwater and deliver within 90 days Receipt of Order.  All ammunition must be New in box.  No refurbished ammunition or loose ammunition will be accepted.  All quotes should include shipping costs, FOB destination. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01. “MANUFACTURED, RELOADED OR SURPLUS AMMUNITION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED”

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to thi requirement is 332992. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,300 employees.  Quotes will be evaluated to which offer(s) conforms to the Specifications and is the most advantageous to the Government, with both Price, Past Performance, and Delivery time considered.

Each potential vendor is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the Online Representation and Certification Applications (SAM) at http://www/sam.gov.  The solicitation will be available on or after April 16, 2026 with a closing date of April 30, 2026, and no later than 9:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time. Bids will not be accepted past this date

This solicitation will be distributed solely through beta.SAM.gov http://www.beta.sam.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be made available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.

Vendors that would like to provide an offer must include a signed copy of page 1 of the SF-1449 RFQ #15B61826Q00000006 with a Unit Price and Total for each of line items found on page 4 of the SF-1449.

• 5.56 55GR FMJ BT- NEW IN BOX, NEW BOX PRIMED BRASS.  CASES OF 500 or 1,000 WITH BOXES OF 20.  NO LOOSE AMMUNITION.
