ANTARCTIC ARMOR (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are be requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

This soliciattion has been amended, see changes under:

Amendment 1 – Added CLIN 0004 – Shipping Cost, to account for offeror’s associated shipping fees.

Amendment 2 – Added Attachment 6 – Questions and Answers, for inquiries related to the solicitation.

We are seeking eligible vendors to provide qoutes for the listed items below:

The contarctor shall provide the following:

1. 450 (Pairs) Baffin, Snow Monster Boots
- Brand Name or Equal IAW list of Salient Characteristics and Sizing Chart.

2. 450 (Each) Carhartt, Style #104458 Yukon Extremes Insulated Active Jacket
- Brand Name or Equal IAW list of Salient Characteristics and Sizing Chart.

3. 450 (Each) Carhartt, Style: #104461 Yukon Extremes Loose Fit Insulated Biberall
- Brand Name or Equal IAW list of Salient Characteristics and Sizing Chart.

Offerors proposing "equal" products must provide documented evidence demonstrating that their products meet or exceed the performance specifications of the listed items IAW list of Salient Characteristics. 

These items will be shipped to personnel in Christchurch, New Zealand utilizing the following address:

This requirement will be exempt from import taxes and customs fees IAW New Zealand Treaty Series 1961, No. 3. Quotes submitted must only consider item cost and associated shipping fees.

Any questions shall be submitted to the CO and CS via email NLT 0800 HST, 29 July 2025. The Government will send the questions and resultant responses out to all vendors.
