Here is a brief description of the contract opportunity: The Maryland Air National Guard requires construction of a new controlled access point (the 2701 gate) at Martin State Airport in Middle River, Maryland. The work includes removing a section of existing chain-link fence and the existing cable anti-ram crash barrier, demolishing and repaving the entrance, furnishing and installing sixteen removable and lockable anti-vehicle bollards rated to ASTM F2656 M30/P1, furnishing and installing new galvanized steel manual double-swing gates, providing gate grounding and bonding, installing street lighting, adding pavement markings and striping, and restoring the disturbed site. All work must maintain continuous perimeter security throughout construction and comply with UFC 4-022-03.
