The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered business who have the capability to provide annual and bi-annual calibration services to an estimate of 3500 gages. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal/ quote. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential SAM Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Gage Calibration – Annual Services

Quantity: 3000-3300 each

Gage Calibration – Bi-Annual Services

Quantity: 150 each

An estimate between 3000 and 3300 each Gages shall be calibrated annually, with an estimate of 150 each Gages calibrated bi-annually. The Contractor shall prepare and submit an accredited, endorsed calibration certificate for each item calibrated, in addition to a sticker/ label indicating the gage ID, date calibrated, and the next scheduled date for calibration.

The contractor shall be able to respond to unforeseen and urgent requirements in a timely manner within 24-48 hours. NOTE: These are EXTREMLY rare occurrences.

SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible SAM Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by emailing the requirement information below to the point of contact listed on this announcement. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. The requested period of performance for this service is 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2027. This includes a base year and one option year.

The following information is requested in response to this posting:
