ARC FLASH STUDY

This is a pre-solicitation notice to inform that The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity – Central (PCAC) will be soliciting for a electrical power study to including arc flash risk evaluation and mitigation requirements via a direct sole source SDVOSB contracting authority under FAR 13.106-1, Public Law (PL) 109-461, and 38 U.S.C 8127 Veterans First benefits program.  We intend on awarding a contract to Enviros LLC, 220 Ramsey St. Hastings, Minnesota 55033.   Enviros LLC is a verified SDVOSB.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 & Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).  The Government contemplates award of one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide an electrical power study including arc flash risk evaluation and mitigation requirements in accordance with NFPA 70E, 2024 Edition, of all electrical breakers, electrical distribution panels, automatic transfer switches, transformers, and emergency generator systems (generator and breakers) at the CRRC facility.

The Government anticipated period of performance of 180 days after the NTP.

A solicitation and request for quote will not be posted to FBO as this will be a direct award to one SDVOSB.  A Request for Proposal will be issued directly to Enviros LLC.  This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a Request for Quote or Request for Proposal.  This pre-solicitation notice is being provided IAW with FAR 5.204 Pre-solicitation notices.
