AUTOMATIC BAGGER

Sierra Army Depot located in Herlong, California has a requirement for One (1) Automatic Bagger - Handles "tube" type bags in 4mm and 6mm thickness; Handles bags ranging in size from 2-inch X 3-inch (smallest) to 16-inch X 32-inch (largest); Cuts and seals both ends of bags; Labeling feature where it prints and applies labels; Must operate and be supported in a stand-alone mode (i.e. not connected to a network); Power: 120V @ 15A or 220V single-phase; Must be OSHA compliant.

The Army intends to award one firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as 100% small business set-aside and will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12 and 13.5.

The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 333993 – Packaging Machinery Manufacturing. The related small business size standard is 600 employees.

In accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7; Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any purchase order or contract resulting from this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote and those conforming to the requirements of the solicitation may be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Questions shall include reference to the RFQ number in the subject line. Questions must be received a minimum of seven (7) business days before the closing date listed in the RFQ. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website.
