AWARD NOTICE FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION

This notice is being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions.  THIS NOTICE OF AWARD IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.  The Government limited competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 – Unusual and Compelling Urgency.  The acquisition was conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The proposed action is for supply of 70 heavy duty shelving units though a local vendor specialized in supplying such product for which the Government solicited one (1) source under the authority prescribed by FAR 6.302-2 – Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This action resulted in an award of purchase order to ALRAWASI ALKHADHRAA COMPANY. This urgent acquisition provides upgrades to storage space and consolidation of sensitive material and equipment into a climate-controlled storage workspace.
