Building 1044 Chiller and CRAC Unit Replacements

This notice is for a sealed bid solicitation for the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) located on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico for removing and replacing one (1) Chiller (70 TON)  and two (2) Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) (7 and 9 TON) units in Building 1044. Please be aware that there are brand name requirements for the Chiller and the Building Management Systems. This sealed bid is utilizing FAR Part 14 and FAR Part 36; FAC 2025-04.

Please review the solicitation document for the date, time, and location of the pre-bid conference and site visit. Please review the required information that must be submitted to attend the site visit.

The deadline to submit questions and requests for information (RFI) for this requirement is close of business seven calendar days prior to the bid opening date. Questions and RFI submitted after the deadline may not be answered or acknowledged.

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this requirement. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning Contractors, the size standard is $19.0 Million.

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(e), the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Please review the solicitation document for date, time, and location of the bid opening. Facsimile / mailed / electronic submissions of bids shall not be accepted. Only in person, hand delivery of bids will be accepted at the bid opening and up to one (1) hour prior of the bid opening my they be submitted. Late submission of bids will not be accepted. 

Please note that the location of the bid opening is at different location than the pre-bid conference / site visit, again please reivew the solicitation document for the location, date, and time of the bid opening.

In accordance with DFARS 52.204-7, all prospective bidders interested in submitting a bid in response to this solicitation must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Lack of registration in SAM prior to the bid opening will make an offeror ineligible for award. The website for SAM is www.SAM.gov.
