B1790 JACE OS REPLACEMENT

THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) the 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station JRB, Fort Worth TX Contracting Office intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to WAIT MECHANICAL INC. This sole source contract action is required for completion of the following scope of work: Purchase and install replacement Java Application Control Engine (JACE) Operating System (OS) at Building 1790. This sole source contract action is based on the likelihood that only a single source can meet this requirement for the Government in a timely manner. It is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and will extend the current mission impact significantly.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent.

This Notice of Intent is hereby published in accordance with FAR 5.201. All responses received withing 7 days of the posting of this notice, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 5:00 PM CST, 29 August 2025, which shall be considered by the Government. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this notice, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
