    Description

    C.1 SCOPE OF CONTRACT
    The intent of the contract is to provide for the construction of the work described.  The precise details of performing the work are not stipulated except as considered essential for the successful completion of the work.  Furnish all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. Fence materials will be provided by Forest Service. 
    The work would consist of the removal and construction of 4-wire fence with associated braces and gates. Removal of all T-posts, fence wire and line braces, corner braces and line posts to clear the fence line for new construction. 
    Work covered under each Pay Item in the Schedule of Items includes: 
    Pay Item No. 1 – Mobilization: 
    The work shall consist of moving personnel, equipment, material, and incidentals to the project and performing all work necessary before beginning work at the project site.  
    Pay Item No. 1 –Remove wire posts and stays: 
    The work shall consist of the removal of a 4- with steel and wood posts from Forest Service lands 
    Pay Item No. 2 –Replace wire posts and stays: 
    The work shall consist of the construction of a 4-wire (three barbed wire (top three) and one smooth wire (bottom wire) fence with steel posts. See Specifications for installation specs. 
    Pay Item No. 3 – Remove and replace single brace: 
    The work shall consist of the removal and construction of single braces. See Specifications for installation specs. Pay Item

    No. 4 – Remove and replace double brace: 
    The work shall consist of the removal and construction of double braces. See Specifications for installation specs. 
    Pay Item No. 5 – Installation of 14ft swing Gate: 
    The work shall consist of the installation of a 14-foot swing gate.  
    Pay Item No. 6 – Removal and replacement of 12ft wire gate: 
    The work shall consist of the Removal and replacement of 12ft wire gate. 
    Pay Item No. 7 – Removal and replacement of post and rail fence: 
    The work shall consist of the installation of a 12-foot wire gate. 

    C.2 PROJECT LOCATION

    C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
    Between $25,000 and $100,000. 

    C.4 SITE VISIT
    Per FAR Part 52.236-3 “Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work”, contractor is encouraged and expected to visit the site. No official Site Visit shall be performed. Ensure you are familiar with inclement weather as this may hinder access to certain roads. 

    C.5 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
    Work on the site shall commence no earlier than October 01, 2025, and proceed in accordance with the contractor’s approved work schedule and run continuously till the end of the project no later than September 30th, 2026.
