BACKGROUND
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a blackbody cavity calibration bath which covers -20 °C to +130 °C operating range. The bath must support dry-air purges from the rear of the cavity for reduction of frost/condensation buildup and utilize a high heat-transfer fluid for minimizing temperature gradients and uniformity.
