Amendment #1 (21 July 2025) is hereby published for this requirement and provides the following.
1. Crye Precision Part # INSSA900002 (Side Armor Insert) was discontinued and replaced by INSSP2. The following attachments have been updated to reflect this change: Attachment 2 – Unit Pricing Sheet; Attachment 3 – Technical Specifications.
2. Due to potential delivery delays with Crye Precision, we have updated the lead time for all Crye Precision gear to 160 Days. Team Wendy and First Spear gear will still have a lead time of 120 Days. The following attachments have been updated to reflect this change: Attachment 1 – CLIN Pricing Sheet; Combined Synopsis / Solicitation.
3. Due to the changes above, the due date for quotes have been extended by one week to 6 August 2025 at 10:00am. The following attachments have been updated to reflect this change: Combined Synopsis / Solicitation.

The United States Air Force requires body amor and ballistic helmets for explosive ordinance disposal teams. This requirement is for Crye Body Armor (19 part numbers, 2400 units), First Spear Body Armor (21 part numbers, 270 units) and Team Wendy Helmets (3 part numbers, 600 units). Please see Attachment 3 – Technical Specifications for exact part numbers, item descriptions and unit quantities.

All Cyre Body Armor items shall be delivered within 160 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). All other items shall be delivered within 120 calendar days ARO.
