BOUNDARY LINE MAINTENANCE

This solicitation is being procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services, which has an applicable size standard of $9.5M.

Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: Contractor shall perform maintenance on the boundary line on Nimrod Lake and the boundary line on Blue Mountain Lake to ensure the government boundary is clearly defined and visible to the public, adjacent landowners, and government representatives. The waters and lands ofNimrod and Blue Mountain Lakes are actively managed under the Nimrod Blue Mountain Project Office of the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers, located in Plainview, Arkansas. The boundary line runs along diverse terrain, ranging from steep banks to flat agricultural lands. In some instances, hip boots will be required during line maintenance. Vegetation varies from open agricultural land to heavy underbrush areas. This should be a consideration when bidding on the contract.

Place(s) and date(s) of performance: The waters and lands of Nimrod and Blue Mountain Lakes under the Nimrod Blue Mountain Project Office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located in Plainview, Arkansas 72857.
