This amendment clarifies the minimum requirements for CLIN 0003 Rack Mount Kit, "19 to include brackets with handles & hardware to convert BOTDR to a mountable version compatible with a 19” rack. This amendment also extends the RFQ window to now close on 7/7/25 at 2:00pm ET.

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2) this solicitation will be posted for less than fifteen (15) days.

This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515 Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for one (1) Brillouin Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (BOTDR), one (1) Travel Case, and one (1) 19" Rack Mount Kit in accordance with the minimum specifications in the attached Request for Quotes.
