    Description

    This is an official notice for a solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ) #FA462525Q0005
    This solicitation has been ammended to include Ammendment 0002 to update the CLIN Structure, updated SOW dated 26 August 2025, and updated response deadline to Wednesday, 27 August 2025.

     The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB is posting this solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ), for the repair of an Altec Boom Truck that meets the specifications of the attached Statement of Work (SOW) dated 26 August 2025.

    DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
    The government requires the inspection and repair of the upper and lower fiberglass boom sections for stress fractures and cracking.  Inspect fiberglass to metal connection points to ensure these are serviceable and meet manufacturers specifications, repair inner boom cracks and outer boom spiral cracks, replace out of date leveling cables, perform a structural load test, perform a dielectric test, and perform an operational test after repairs are completed and certify truck is serviceable for all type of repairs following OSHA 1910.67:/OSHA 1910.269: /ANSI A92.2 /ANSI A92.24 /ANSI A92.9 / ASME 91-203. Provide test reports to the government.
