Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of NSNs 1560-01-611-6419UC, Thrust Reverser RH, and 1560-01-620-9648UC, Thrust Reverser LH

ITEM DESCRIPTION

The components of interest are Thrust Reverser Righthand, NSN 1560-01-611-6419UC, P/N- 4P39001-130A , T.O.- 1C-5M-4-11  F / 4  I / 1,, and Thrust Reverser Lefthand, NSN 1560-01-620-9648UC, P/N- 4P39001-129A, T.O.- 1C-5M-4-11  F / 3  I / 1 on the C-5 aircraft , whose primary function is to slow the airplane, reducing the distance required to safely stop during landing and in the air, on the inboard engines, the Thrust Reversers can be deployed to aid in rapid descent.

IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION:

Competition is limited to entities that meet requirements set forth by Distribution Statements and Export Control Notices of the technical data package.

INTEREST

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 13 June 2025 by emailing Brooke Whitford, Brooke.whitford.3@us.af.mil, Aaron Christiansen, aaron.christiansen.2@us.af.mil. The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
