    Request For Qualifications Statements (SF 330) General Project Description: Project Number: 402-25-008 Project Title: A-E Repair Condensate Pump Room Roof Location of Project: VA Maine Healthcare System (VAMC Togus), Augusta, Maine 04330 A/E Type A&B Services (also known as Design Phase) for this design project includes site visits, field investigation, studies and user interviews to prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and disciplines/trades to repair condensate pump room roof located on the Togus campus. This project will repair the deteriorating condensate pump room roof in the basement of B201. The A/E must consider the need for all condensate pumps to remain operational during the construction period. This project will consist of concrete testing and design for temporary shoring, abatement (if required), demolition of existing concrete and rebar, concrete forming, new concrete, and sealant. The existing ceiling supports multiple pipes and electrical conduits, lights, etc. The design package should include detailed plans on how to temporarily support all existing utilities. If disconnection is required, the A/E must determine the source of energy, existing isolation locations, and impact to facility when isolated. The A/E is to provide a final load rating for the roof once repairs are complete. The design will include drawings showing ICRA required construction barriers, properly sized negative air machines, as well as duct routing for exhausting air. Additionally, the A/E shall prepare all required National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analysis and Environmental Assessment reports and documentation for any improvements made as part of this project. NAICS and Set-Aside Information: This procurement for Architect & Engineering services is assigned NAICS 541330 Engineering Services which has an SBA size standard of $25.5 million in average revenue.
