We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find potential qualified sources for Architect-Engineer services to complete the below scope of work. The proposed NAICS 541330 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $25.5 million. The place of performance will be the Salem VA Medical Center at Salem, Virginia. The anticipated Magnitude of Construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Statement of Objectives: The project intent is to develop a complete design package that addresses all exterior masonry on buildings/corridors 1, 2, 2A (Legacy ED), 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and all connecting corridors to include: Masonry façade Brick Catawba Stone Concrete Block Lintels Sills Decorative Bands Stairwells & Ramps Stone Concrete Concrete Block Handrails Window wells MEP Penetrations Instructions: The CO will consider responses received for this Sources Sought Notice, along with any other market research that is conducted, when determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. In accordance with FAR 36.602-1(a)(5), the Contracting Officer intends to include an evaluation factor to address prospective firms location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project. In order to effectively gauge market interest, please provide a brief description of your firm s experience in the general geographical area, if any.
