CAFETERIA AND COFFEE KIOSK SERVICES

Request for Information (RFI)

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) prime contract, solicits expressions of interest from companies capable of providing Cafeteria & Coffee Kiosh services. This RFI is issued to assist with finding potential suppliers interested in this solicitation.

The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles. The approximate number of employees at SRS is about ~13,542. 

Prior sales info –

Breakfast headcount (unit of sale = 1 person) averaged 6,323 sales per month

 (Monday-Thursday) in calendar year 2024.   

Lunch headcount (unit of sale = 1 person) averaged 10,385 sales per month

 (Monday-Thursday) in calendar year 2024.

Energy Bean (Coffee shop) headcount (unit of sale = 1 person) averaged 2,171 sales per month (Monday-Thursday) in calendar year 2024.

Post submittal assessments by the Food Committee will result in a Site visit for the finalists before a selection is determined.

Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following:

1. Submit a detailed Capability Statement including a management and personnel structure.
2. Overview of how the subcontractor intends to perform the service therein.
3. Provide examples of past performance in a food service environment, including any active store fronts. Visitation may be requested.
4. Submit a third-party certified or State certified restaurant inspection audits and/or inspection documentation from the last two (2) years.
