 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b) the Contracting Officer has determined that circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.  The Government intends to solicit Propulsor Technology, Inc. for: four (4) calibrated Shaft Taper Analysis Verification Evaluation (STAVE) artifacts, as detailed in the attached solicitation. This solicitation is a sole source, small business set-aside.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. N0016724Q0022.  The NAICS code is 541330 and the business size standard is $25.5M.
