SCOPE OF WORK:
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking to contract all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials to provide and install a new vault toilet building. All components will be procured, applied, and installed per manufacturer's recommendations and specifications, per
industry standards, and per local, State, and Federal law. Location- Shenandoah County, VA 38.732220, -78.516840.
The contractor shall:
Provide, deliver and install a new concrete vault toilet building that meets the following requirements:
o Two separate handicap accessible restrooms with lockable doors
o Storage space provided with lockable door
o Durable, maintenance free materials.
Provide all earthwork including excavation for vaults, removal of any foreign materials from the pit, backfill with proper compaction
Install and orient building such that vent pipes absorb sufficient heat from the sun and such that prevailing winds carry odors away from camp sites
Clean up site to pre-construction conditions. Remove and dispose of all debris including unused soil off of government property.
Provide 1-Year labor and materials warranty.
