CATHOLIC COORDINATOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (CRE)

The Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) shall assist the Director, Religious Ministries Directorate (Director RMD) ) and assigned contract priest (ACP) or active-duty priest (ADP),  in the coordination of all Catholic programs, religious education, events and activities in accordance with the guidance set forth by the Navy Chaplain Corps and the Archdiocese for the Military Service. The CRE is responsible for scheduling Catholic Masses. This work requires services outside the regular workday hours, which on occasion will require evening, weekend, and holiday work. Due to the operations of the Chapel, not all deliverables will fall within the standard work week (refer to paragraph 9). Services shall be provided on-site unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the installation Commanding Officer’s direction.
