CM25218002 MARKET RESEARCH - AIRCRAFT PARTS

This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of the sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of possible manufacturing sources for the NSN items listed on the attached spreadsheet, other than the currently approved source(s).  Additional possible manufacturing sources are being sought.

At this time, the only approved source of manufacture for the items listed is EATON AEROSPACE, LLC  The items are procured in accordance with the manufacturer CAGE codes and Part Numbers under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1).  Specifications, plans or drawings are not available.

At this time, the Agency has no data, or inadequate data, available for evaluating the acceptability of alternate products.  Therefore, a source wishing to submit an alternate product for approval will not only need to submit copies of all drawings, specifications, or other data necessary to clearly describe the characteristics and features of the alternate product being offered; but must also furnish drawings and other data covering the design, materials, etc., of the exact product currently approved, sufficient to establish that the alternate product seeking approval is equal to the current approved product.  Data submitted shall cover design, materials, performance, function, interchangeability, inspection and/or testing criteria, and other characteristics of the offered product.  Refer to DLAD 52.217-9002 for further details.

Please provide the name, location, and points of contact for any sources that are able to manufacture one or more of the items listed on the attached spreadsheet and are interested in submitting data for the approval process.  Please provide the information to the Primary Point of Contact listed.
