This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals. Therefore, no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract, to provide Cold Spray Maintenance and Calibration. This requirement is required to continue to maintain and support the Navy’s mission. The required service is commercial and prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance for this acquisition will begin immediately after contract award. The Government intends to solicit and contract with only one source, VRC Metal Systems LLC, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) on a sole source basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of 12.5 million. The Product Service Code is J049.
