As part of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum program of Facility Management, the Division of Operations has identified a requirement for physical plant operations, maintenance and electrical support of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Washington, DC metro area facilities, including the Museum building, the Ross Administrative Center, Office Suite at Portals III, and the Shapell Center in Bowie, MD.
Protection of artifacts, visitor and staff safety and comfort requires the highest standards of operations, maintenance, and repair to ensure the facilities interior environment and operating parameters are precisely maintained and the facilities’ HVAC systems are operating optimally at all times. Maintaining uninterruptible utilities and environmental conditioning 24/7 will preserve the asset value of the facility and its systems helping to reduce operating costs to the Government.
