Introduction: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY – This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties and their capability to support the requirement for Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Responses to this notice will be considered and will help the Government dictate a path forward. All business categories will be considered to include large businesses. Capability statements will also be accepted.

Contractor Capability: The contractor shall be responsible for supplying the Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment and include the request itemized within the draft SOW.

Responses to Sources Sought notice: Responses to this notice shall be limited to three pages and submitted by email directly to Contract Specialist, Shakeia Reyes (shakeia.reyes.2@us.af.mil) and Contracting Officer, Sarah Brown (sarah.brown.53@us.af.mil). Responses are due no later than Thursday, 14 August 2025, at 3:30pm Eastern Standard Time. Any questions may be directed to the points of contact listed above.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334519 with a Small Business Size Standard, 600 employees.  The Product Service Code is 6695. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their response.

Respondents shall not be obligated to provide the supplies/services described herein.

Responses from interested vendors should address the following items:

Confirmation that your company can provide the requested items on the draft SOW.

Provide company socio-economic status (i.e. Small, Small Disadvantages Women-Owned, etc.) under identified NAICS and company profile to include, CAGE Code and DUNs number.
