Notice of Intent 

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office, West (MRCO-W) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the authority 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) - on a sole source basis to Corneagen., to provide donor corneal tissue products for patients at the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. 
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325414 – Biological Product (except Diagnostic) Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

NOTE: This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Radiopharmaceuticals. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.
