    Description

    The Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch (AVTB) intends to procure comprehensive crane services, including equipment and qualified personnel, to facilitate the determination of the Vertical Center of Gravity (VCG) and Longitudinal Center of Gravity (LCG) for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle Recovery Variant (ACV-R). This testing will utilize the suspension method, as prescribed by AVTB Test Operations Procedure (TOP-001 v3.0).

    Please see attached RFQ for detailed information. 

    Amendment 1 issued to affect the following:

    1. Page 3 of the solicitation, paragraph 6 added the following: Provide a technical approach with a detailed description of specification of the proposed services in the SOW. The inf ormation submitted must be suf ficient for the Government to assess the technical capability of the proposed service or item(s) to fulf ill the required ef fort. Quotations shall provide all other required documentation specified herein.
    2. Page 3 of the solicitation, paragraph 7 added the following: Award will be based upon the following factors:
        (1) Technical Approach – acceptable/unacceptable
        (2) Price
    3. Added page 4 to include the Statement of Work (SOW).
    4. Contract Line-Item 0001, revised to read “up to 4 days (NOT TO EXEED 40 HOURS FOR THE ENTIRE SERVICE).
    5. Revised FAR Clause 52.212-2 to include the evaluation f actors.
    6. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
