DIGITAL PRESERVATION HW MAINTENANCE

The Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington, DC, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-3 and FAR 6.302-1(b)(ii). The proposed source is Crowley Micrographics, Inc. (dba: The Crowley Company). This procurement is for a one year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the manufactures Mekel MACH Series and USCAN/ C400 production microfilm, microfiche and aperture card scanners preventative maintenance. This firm fixed price contract to Crowley Micrographics, Inc., in Frederick, MD (small business), which is the exclusive and sole source authorized U.S. distributor, parts supplier and support provider for the entire Mekel Technology and Wicks and Wilson. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is seeking a discount from the offeror's schedule prices pursuant to FAR 8.404(d).
