The purpose of this amendment is to make the following updates to the solicitation: 1) Removal of Heavy Equipment Mechanic erroneous duplicate listing in FAR Clause 52.212-5, 2) Correction of Gunsmith Occupation Code and Addition of Production Control Clerk to Estimated Workload Data table in Section 5, paragraph 3 as well as the Exhibit A - Pricing Schedule, and 3) Include Exhibit C to address RFIs from industry. Provide qualified labor and management to effectively and efficiently operate and manage the 548th DSSB Support Maintenance Company (SMC) Contract Logistics Support (CLS). The CLS shall be consistent with the Government?s priorities, to include Field Level maintenance and repairs, Materiel Maintenance Support, and Production Control for light and heavy wheeled vehicles, construction equipment, and Ground Support Equipment, and small arms and crew served weapons, and radio equipment, microcomputers and electromechanical telecommunications. Required supporting functions include, but are not limited to, Field Level maintenance, technical assistance, technical inspections, and maintenance services and repairs (both scheduled and unscheduled). The Contractor shall ensure professional execution of this effort in support of the CLS mission.
