EATON UPS SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION PROGRAM

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(b)(2) set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for services related to Uninterrupted Power Supply service life extension program to Eaton Corporation, 8609 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616. See the attached sole source justification for additional information regarding the sole source determination. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Contracting Office. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is based upon response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
