- This is a Synopsis Notice for the re-establishment of a BOA with a sole source vendor for NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg-Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Management Directorate (NRSCMD). The Government intends to establish a BOA for spare procurements, including but not limited to the attached NSN listing, with only one source (Electric Boat Corporation, 96169) under the BOA pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to allow for competitive procurement of the items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to the notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after the publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
