ELECTRICITY (UTILITY) SERVICES

The Indian Health Service, Yakama Service Unit, in Toppenish, Washington, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract for Electricity (Utility) Services to Pacific Power (Pacificor) for the Yakama Service Unit's Annex Building, located at 341 Fort Road, Toppenish, Washington. 

This acquisition is conducted pursuant to the authority for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items (41 U.S.C. 3305, 3306, and Chapter 337); FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (41 U.S.C. 1906, 1907, and 3307), FAR Part 37.101, Non-Personal Services Contract, and FAR Part 41, Acquisition of Utility Services.

The Contractor, Pacific Power (Pacificor) - is the sole company uniquely authorized to provide the needed utility services to ensure that there are no service interruptions that could impact direct patient care services.

This is not a request for competitive proposals; it is primarily a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. There will be no request for competitive quotes available. Any submissions to this notice must provide compelling evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The contract will be granted without further notice if no affirmative written response is received no later than 1:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on August 11, 2025.
