The Harry S. Truman Power Plant (HST) is in Warsaw, MO on the Harry S. Truman Reservoir, and Lake of the Ozarks. It has two elevators serving the industrial areas as well as administrative areas. The service elevator is a 1978, 2000 lb side-traction Hollister-Whitney 430D with 6 stops. This elevator had new controls installed in 2007. This elevator is critical for personnel access, equipment and material transportation in day-to-day operations. The Visitors elevator is a 1978 4000 lb overhead traction Hollister-Whitney 530H with 4 stops. Site Visit Propspective contractors are encouraged to visit and fully inspect all areas prior to submitting a quote. The Government will not be held accountable for conditions at the site which were not considered by prospective contractors. A site visit is highly encouraged but not required.
