REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION: The engine is a critical component to the HEMTT fleet. The vehicle’s engine is required for all levels of function, and without engines, HEMTT vehicles are dead-lined and not mission capable. The engine functions by converting fuel into power which turns the driveshaft of the vehicle which will then turn the powered axles of the vehicle allowing for movement. The engine also serves to provide power to all auxiliary systems of the vehicle which assist in its overall function. This engine is specifically outfitted to fit to the HEMTT engine bay.
