EPDM INSULATION MATERIAL

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open basis the following items: 1) Kevlar-filled EPDM (EP-708 and EP-732) Qty: 476 LB. This requirement is sole sourced to  R.E. Darling Co., Inc. at 3749 N. Romero Road Tucson, AZ 85705-3080 to maintain the integrity of the program's historical performance data the same material must be used. Use of any other material would invalidate previous testing and require a complete, duplicative re-qualification effort. 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.  The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893626SIMACQD5550000017 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.  Written responses to this notice shall be submitted by email to Amy Lamberth amy.s.lamberth.civ@us.navy.mil
