SPECIAL NOTICE:

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vendor base.

US Army DEVCOM-SC (on behalf of MARCORSYSCOM and DLA-C&T) is preparing draft of purchase description MC-PD-25-004, Fabric, Nylon, Water and Wind Resistant.

This notice serves as an invitation for industry to review and provide comments on the attached draft document during the review period.  Comments on the draft may be submitted to lee.a.charpentier.civ@army.mil on the attached Consolidated Comments Form (CCF) with the document number in the subject line prior to the review period end date of 09/18/25.  Comments that are not submitted on the CCF may not be considered.

Vendors are reminded that this is not a solicitation or a request for information.  This notice is strictly to provide an opportunity for industry and academia to provide comments to the provided draft.  No other responses will be entertained.

After this review period, the final document will be available through the MARCORSYSCOM.
