    The USFS timber management program relies on specialized tree marking paint that contains a tracer element used to mark timber during timber harvesting operations. The temperature of the designated paint storage area must be kept above 50° Fahrenheit year-round to ensure the integrity of the paint. The current heating system is electric heat sheetrock that was damaged and no longer fully functional.
