FOUR EPPENDORF VACUFUGE PLUS CENTRIFUGES AND ONE EPPENDORF ROTOR SPACER

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.  This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01, 03/13/2026.  This solicitation is set aside for small businesses.  The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees.  The PSC Code is 6640.  

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for:  four (4) Eppendorf Vacufuge plus vacuum concentrators, (Catalog Number 2231001204: PROMO, Vacufuge plus Bundle, with integrated diaphragm vacuum pump, includes rotors for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes (F-45-48-11) and 15/50 mL tubes (F-35-6-30), 120 V/50 – 60 Hz (US);  one (1) Eppendorf Rotor Spacer, (Catalog Number 022822101: Spacer for simultaneous operation of two rotors, for rotors F-45-72-8 and F-45-48-11);  and Shipping Charges. 

No Substitutions.  Exact Match Only.  New Equipment Only.  No Refurbished Equipment.   

One (1) Eppendorf Vacufuge plus vacuum concentrator shall be shipped to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Laboratory Division, 4940 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898.

The three (3) Eppendorf Vacufuge plus vacuum concentrators and the one (1) Rotor Spacer shall be shipped to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Laboratory Division, 2501 Investigation Parkway, Quantico, Virginia, 22135.

All quotes shall be sent to the Contracting Officer Bryan Lane emailed only to bvlane@fbi.gov .  Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of RFO FAR 12.  Offerors must complete annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) website located at https://sam.gov/ .  To facilitate the award process, all quotes must include a statement regarding the terms and conditions herein as follows: The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document without modification, deletion, or addition.  Quoters shall list exceptions and rationale for the exceptions, if any.  Submission of your response shall be received not later than 04/27/2026 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) emailed to bvlane@fbi.gov .  Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).  Any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation should be forwarded in writing via e-mail to the Contracting Officer.
