FY25 ORACLE DB LICENSE RENEWAL

The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone intends to award on a sole-source basis a commercial, Firm Fixed price (FFP) contract to Mythics at 4525 Main Street, Suite 1500 Virginia Beach, VA 23462, CAGE Code 1TA34. This acquisition is for the 1-year subscription renewal of the Oracle Database, Enterprise Edition (see purchase description). The requested software license meets the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) approved products list. The selected brand name meets the Government's needs to include meeting the Command’s IT baseline for supportability. Procuring any other brand deviates from the approved SMDC IT baseline and introduces additional risk and IT support. The G6 Operations Branch regularly purchases, maintains, renews lifecycle software and network tools for the purpose of maintaining Defense-in-Depth for The United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) information networks. Delivery is approximately within 30 days after receipt of the Government contract. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is The Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 10 U.S.C 324(a)(1) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 6.3. A notice of intent to negotiate a sole source action is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
