GAS TURBINE ENGINE OVERHAUL

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Philadelphia, PA, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to provide from

Vericor Power Systems LLC the overhaul and repair of the ETF40B Power Producer Group (PPG). The proposed contract will provide for the overhaul, repair, and testing of the ETF40B PPG, Part Number (P/N) 20-20020-02, NSN 2835- 01-503-0166. The planned acquisition will provide engineering and technical services required for the teardown, test, evaluation (TT&E) and repair of the ETF40B PPGs.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1.

Interested parties, however; may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The applicable North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811310 with a size standard of $12.5. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is J028 – Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Engines, Turbines, and Components.
